This is a community-oriented field study. It covers the application of the concepts, principles and techniques of community health, health assessment, teaching methods in health promotion, disease prevention and early referral.

- State the key components of community and identify aggregates in the community
- Demonstrate knowledge of models of community health Nursing
- Discuss the use of key health planning concepts in community health Nursing practice.
- Describe the impact of culture, socioeconomic status, lifestyle, environment, and violence on the health of the community.
- Analyses the health of a community based on data from a community assessment.
